The practice

Between the swell and the shoreline

Some days I work out on the water, following changing tides and the shape of each swell as it lifts and breaks. Other days I stay onshore, watching the relaxed rhythm of people, boards, and light that gather around the coast.

Some frames are all movement; others ask you to stay with the details. I want the photographs to feel at home beyond the shoreline, so both kinds of work are made with the same patient, observational eye.

Printing and packaging

Archival prints built to last

Every print is made on archival cotton rag paper chosen to hold deep water tones for decades. Each image is printed to order, checked closely, and packed with care so it arrives in gallery condition.
